Sewing for me

We're working on two ebooks right now, hoping they'll be ready for you next month that we keep pretty busy. Still, every now and then it's nice to take a break from all that and sew just for me. Our mom came up for a visit and one of our favorite things to do with her are go the fabric store and sew. This last visit didn't disappoint. We went to our favorite fabric store Strawberry Patches, and found a really cute purse pattern we all had to have. Then over the next three nights, I put together my purse. I have to admit. The handles were hard to attach and the quilting was tedious, but I'm loving the results and think it was totally worth it.
